I'm excited to present my first Houdini animation. In this project I'm exploring Vellum simulations and Character optimisation for simulation in production pipelines. In this animation I combine cloth simulations, balloon simulations, hair grooming and grains. Learning the fundamentals of Houdini in a short timeframe was no easy task. But it was is a nescesary tool for me to reach my goal and I learned a lot along the way. I combined the simultaions with textures created in substance designer and the clothing made in Marvelous Designer to create a mostly procedural workflow. Retopology was done in MD and Blender and rendering was done with Karma in Solaris.
