I’m thrilled to share my first Houdini animation. In this project, I explored Vellum simulations and character optimization for production-ready simulation pipelines. The animation integrates cloth simulations, balloon simulations, hair grooming, and grains, blending multiple techniques into a cohesive piece. Mastering Houdini’s fundamentals in a short timeframe was a challenging endeavor, but it was an essential tool for achieving my goal, and I gained valuable insights throughout the process.

To create a largely procedural workflow, I combined these simulations with textures crafted in Substance Designer and clothing designed in Marvelous Designer. Retopology was handled using Marvelous Designer and Blender, and the final rendering was completed with Karma in Solaris.
